I have Active Sync 3.7 on my machine because I have a Pocket PC phone running 2003. Therefore I need 3.7 to sync to my device. However, I would like to use VS 2005 to develop an application targetting Windows Mobile 5.0 which requires that I install Active Sync 4.0. Can Active Sync 3.7 and 4.0 be installed on the same machine without conflicts I am using an RTM version of VS 2005.

Sorry, but no - only one version of ActiveSync can be installed on a PC at any time.
However, ActiveSync 4.0 can sync your PocketPC 2003 phone as well as Windows Mobile 5.0 devices.

I am attempting to sync two different Pocket PC's with two different profiles. When I use AS 3.8 only the 2003 device works, with 4.2 only the 5.0 device works. Since 4.2 is supposed to sync with older platforms any thoughts on why it's not working
I have already run the troubleshooter and everything checks out ok. Thanks, any help you can offer would be appreciated.
