Sorry for my poor English. You didn't catch me.
I am making a mail application, and I want to notify the user when new mail comes. I want to directly use system mail notify. Because it supports many format of audio files, and it can be changed with profile(Normal, Silent, Meeting, etc.)

Why woulod you want to activate the system SMS notification without actually having received one For testing To test you can simulate and incoming SMS on the emulator
