Since this is my first time developing on smart devices, I might be confused with the subject, and my questions might seem weird, so I ask you to be indulgent with me :)
I have to develop a small app on Windows CE 5.0, using CF 2.0 and Visual Studio 2005. Since I don't have the smart device yet, I was hoping to develop the application using an emulator, just as the one shipped with Visual Studio 2003. But it seems it isn't present in Visual Studio 2005.
Is there a way to emulate Windows CE 5.0, by installing a plugin, for example, or something else Or can I work using something else, and then change the platform target once I get the device

Hello,
I've seen his blog while I was looking for a solution, but meanwhile, it was decided I would be working on Windows CE 4.2 for the moment, and therefore not with CF 2.0, so Visual Studio 2003 seems ok for me :) In fact, the devices I'll have to work on won't have CE 5.0 installed until august at the very least .
Nevertheless, if I have to go back to CE 5.0 and CF 2.0, I'll do as the blog says :)
