Hi,
While installing Windows Mobile 5.0 Pocket PC SDK on my desktop PC, I'm getting following error, anyone know the solutions
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Software development tools required to use this SDK for application development are not installed on this workstation. Before trying to run the Setup Wizard again, verify that the required software is installed. To determine which software development tools are required, see the Microsoft Web site at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/ linkid=21615&clcid=0x409,which you can open in an external browser window by clicking the Open Browser button.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Also if anyone know the proper sequence of following installables to install to properly configure the desktop machine for Windows Mobile 5.0 development.
1. ActiveSync 4.0
2. DMA Transport Update
3. Mobile Application Development Toolkit
4. .NET Compact Framework
5. .NET Framework 2.0 Software Development Kit (SDK) Beta 2 x64
6. SDK for Windows Mobile 5.0 Pocket PC
7. SDK for Windows Mobile 5.0 Smartphone
8. WindowsR Server 2003 SP1 Platform SDK Full Download
Please let me know if anything is not require or if I'm missing something from the above list.
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Sandeep.

have installed VC++, VC#, VB, VJ#. After installing all this I have started installing the SDKs.

If you have an MSDN Subscription you can download VS 2005 from the MSDN Subscriber Downloads Site (http://msdn.microsoft.com/subscriptions/)
Or order VS 2005 from the following web site: http://msdn.microsoft.com/getthebetas
Or order the Windows Mobile 5.0 Developer Evaluation Kit on this site: http://msdn.microsoft.com/mobility/windowsmobile/howto/resourcekit/default.aspx
It includes a suitable edition of VS 2005

The Express Editions do not support Mobile Device development. You have to install at least Visual Studio 2005 Standard Edition. Details see here: http://lab.msdn.microsoft.com/vs2005/productinfo/productline/default.aspx
I recommend to install the "Professional" Edition. See http://lab.msdn.microsoft.com/vs2005/get how to get this version.

Your missing the most important tool: Visual Studio 2005.
Just follow the installation guidelines located here: http://msdn.microsoft.com/mobility/windowsmobile/howto/windowsmobile5/install/default.aspx
