New DVD for installation?

  After doing some searching and finding different blogs and Microsoft Sites about properly removing Visual Studio 2005 I've gotten all the errors to go away except, "Could not install .NET compact framework 2.0".. same error about previous installation.  However I think I may know how to fix it also.  I'll let you know in a bit.

  Are you getting some type of message or a list of corrupt files Are you able to start the installation at all Which disk did you get Is it the disk with the VSTS Beta 2 VPC Or is it a Team System installation disc If this is an installation disc, you should have a total of 3 discs.

  Thanks for the response and I apologize for the ambiguity.
  
  1) Are you getting some type of message or a list of corrupt files
     -  Well the last time I insalled it was an error with a corrupt file named in the error.  I can't remember the exact error number, but I want to say it was like 1335.  However, this time I tried to reinstall and the installation got to the end and another error box popped up.  This error box was labelled setup.exe and read as follows:
  " Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 Team Suite Edition Beta 2 - English has encountered a problem during setup.  Setup did not complete correctly" and then asked to send this problem to Microsoft which I did.  After sending it again notified me that setup did not complete and I looked at the error log provided and this is what it contained:

  2) Are you able to start the installation at all
     - Yes, it installs until the end.
  3) Which disk did you get Is it the disk with the VSTS Beta 2 VPC Or is it a Team System installation disc If this is an installation disc, you should have a total of 3 discs. 
     - I only have two disks.  One labelled, "Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 Team Suite" and the other labelled, "Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Developer Edition Community Technology Preview"
  
  As for the error log above the first thing that catches my attention is the
  "Error code 1618 for this component means "Another installation is already in progress.  Complete that installation before proceeding with this install."  I guess this means as it says, there seems to be an installation running in the background, or maybe an uncompleted installation   I've tried to clean the installation as best as I could and even used the installation cleaning tool provided by Microsoft to clean it better.

  Well still no luck.  It seems that there was a previous install that is holding things up.  If anyone has any information on how to fix this it would be greatly appreciated.
