Deployment Issues in VS2k5 with ActiveSync 4.0.0

Trying to deploy an app to my PocketPC2002 device using ActiveSync 4.0.0 and VS2k5. Maybe 1 in 5 times I deploy it fails with error:
Deployment and/or registration failed with error: 0x8973190e. Error writing file x
Error 0x8007274c: A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond.

This always happens with the same file which is an image library dll which is about 1mb in size.

Is there a reason it fails about 20% of the time And is there a way to fix it

I get the same problem with my PPC 2003 device.
Same error message, and about the same percentage of the time.
Is there any way I can change timeout values in either activesync or VS2k5 so this large dll does not time out when sending

I'm not aware of any ways to do that. AS 4.0 had some issues with connection stability, so please consider upgrading to AS 4.1 (or to AS 4.2 Beta).

VS 2005 does not support PPC 2002, only PPC 2003 and above are supported.
