I tried to install the Full Setup of Active Foxpro Pages (afpages) on my Windows 2000 Server. It gave errors of not being able to locate gdiplus.dll or msvcr71.dll. When I tried going into the Active Foxpro Pages control center, I got an error that "Cannot locate the Microsoft Visual Foxpro support library." This is a computer without any native Foxpro installed. I then tried installing both the VFP7 run-time files and the VFP 9 files, but it did not help. The VFP 9 download also gave errors about msvcr71.dll. I tried copying those 2 files from the backup folder in the AFP3 directory into c:\winnt\system32 and registering them, but the registration did not seem successful. The computer does not even run the Hello World sample page. It doesn't give an error, but does not print anything to the screen either. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Active Foxpro Pages Setup Problem

which version of AFP are you using The FullSetup installs at least two VFP runtimes. Would you please send me the install.log (it's in AFP3 installation folder) to afpsupport [at] prolib.de The problem related to msvcr71.dll is very weird because our VFP 9.0 runtime installer copies this file to your system32 directory. Both files aren't to register.
First, please send in the install.log file. Second, I'd like mention that there is an official support platform for Active FoxPro Pages on our news server. The URL is news://news.prolib.de

That site is written in AFP and I think the operators also run the North American support for AFP. You should get a fairly swift answer there.
