.NET Framework 2.0 and Visual Studio 2005

As part of the ISV community and MS Partners are you able to tell us more accurately when we can expect the .NET Framework 2.0 and Visual Studio 2005 to launch I am in a predicament at present as to know which .NET Framework to develop the latest version of our web application. Ideally 2.0 would be the way to go and would give the best longevity, however if launch is somewere in Q4 then we will probably have to go with Framework 1.1 as we need to launch at the end of Q2 beginning of Q3. I am aware of the go live licences, but I'm not happy to advertise to our clients that they are running on beta software which I understand is a condition of that licence. I am aware we could always upgrade our web app after 2.0 launch but that is going to require more resource time when in an ideal world I would like it written from day 1 in 2.0 Framework.

Any help would be appreciated.
