I need to update the .prj file with some custom code but do not want to replace the file. I want add some code to a module if it exists and if not add the module with the code. Is this possible
The support engineer is not clear on what you're trying to do.
For example, in excel all the vba codes and modules are saved as *.xls file, but not *.prj. Various programs use this extension, which one are you working with < xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
If you want to know how to create, modify, and maintain Visual Basic For Applications (VBA) procedures and modules in MS Office applications, this link might be useful http://www.cpearson.com/excel/vbe.htm.
If you can provide more details, I'll make sure that the engineer receives your response.
