vba5.0 doesn't work on dual core computer with Windows2003 system

We have tested at Dell dual core computer(PRECISION 670 and OPTIPLEX 620). If we uses Windows XP, it works well. But it doesn't work at Windows2003, even can't work when disable one CPU and disable Hyper-threading. The VBA initialization succeed, but the application crashs at call CallMacro function. I don't know what's the matter with it. Update to VBA6.X seems not easy and also not sure if it can work.

Hi, office97 which use VBA5 also crashs at that environment, you can use it to duplicate it.

Our engineer is waiting on a dual core computer to be set up so that he can look into your issue. I'll post his findings as soon as I get them.

    Hi,

Our support team has prepared a dual core machine for troubleshooting this issue and have confirmed that VBA 5.0 works well on that machine.

[Dell Precision Workstation 670 with Windows 2003 enterprise and Excel 97 installed]

Please provide a code sample and/or repro steps so that the engineer can continue to troubleshoot your issue.

    thanks,
