the ide should grey out the code or something when code is conditionaly compiled out, but it doesnt seem to do this in beta 2. I cant find any fonts and colors settings to do it (but then "fonts and colors" is mispelt - should be "fonts and colours" 
)

Someone submitted this as a suggestion to MS, and even though C# ide has it, they ahve regected it for this release.
