Hello all you great people,

i'm trying to use IActiveDesktop from vb6 the only way iv been able to find is by using a ready made .tlb file could someone tell me how i can make a com file so i can add it to vb6 or if theres another way to add it

    yes i did and it worked well but i was worryed about copyrights so i was wondering if i could make my own

    no it didn't come with a license it came with prohect i download from pscode.com but as i want to use it and there was no license i can't be sure that the tlb didn't have a license there must be somwhere you can download it surely Mircosoft has one somewhere thats free as it is part of windows.

    Where did you obtain the type library Doesn't it come with a license or something

    At least it's only needed as compile time, you don't have to distribute it. So you don't have to worry about runtime licensing.
