Anyone who's gone through the video lessons, please tell me where the 'Lesson Resources' are located/downloaded from...I'm not sure whether they were supposed to be included with the initial download or if they're available elsewhere.
Thanks for any help ![]()

I'm merging your question to this existing one asking about the same thing. If the link above is incorrect, please let me know the URL to video lesson 02 and we can start looking.

I'm quoting these from http://lab.msdn.microsoft.com/express/beginner/
Lesson 2: Creating a Windows Application User Interface
This lessons walks through using the basics of the Visual Studio IDE including the Toolbox and Properties Window in conjunction with controls like the button, label, MenuStrip, StatusStrip, and ToolStrip controls.
Note: Sample icons can be found in “rss icons” directory in the Lesson 12 download.
Duration: 43 minutes, 11 seconds
Watch: Visual Basic | Visual C#
Download: Visual Basic | Visual C#
The file in the Download section is just a self-extract Zip file. Please make sure you have enough permission to install / copy new files on your machine.
However, now that I noticed the italic note, I think you need to go down to Lesson 12 on the same page
Lesson 12: The RSS Reader Project - Designing and Planning
This lesson begins the design and building of the RSS Reader application. This project will show you how an application is built, beginning with a blank project, and ending with a finished application that you can share with others.
and get this lesson's file (http://download.microsoft.com/download/D/3/6/D3610CA8-EAA9-4CBF-8CFA-275D57AF9542/VBRSSReader.msi.)Duration: 18 minutes, 50 seconds
Video: Visual Basic | Visual C#
Projects: Visual Basic | Visual C#
NOTE: These downloads contain all nine snapshots of the RSS Reader as it was built through videos 12-16.
This time it's an MSI so you should check if your user account have enough permission to install new program.
Hope this helps,
davezh
If you can, please include appropriate links to what you're refering to :)
My guess is that you're talking about these http://lab.msdn.microsoft.com/express/beginner/ and the resource for Lesson 2 is listed in Download section http://download.microsoft.com/download/f/a/3/fa3d3b3e-993b-47f3-89a2-1a5a09f8b13e/02%20-%20VBasic.exe.
