I have created a new snippet and now I want to add the directory to the list supported. The help and the FAQ refer to a Snipper Manager option in the tools menu. But I can't see it, am I going blind
Hmmm.... unless you selected the Tester settings, the command should be there...
Granted, I don't have exactly the same version that you have (I have a slightly newer build of VSTS) but the command is showing up under the tools menu on my machine.
Could you try the following: -> On the tools menu, select Customize... -> Select the tools category -> Find the Code Snippets Manager in the Commands list -> Drag the command from the list and drop it on the top level Tools menu
I just want to elaborate on why the Code snippet manager does not show up.
The first time you run Visual Studio, the IDE instructs you to select development settings. Some of the development settings hide the Code Snippet manager. You can turn it on manually as described above.
Isn't there a Code Snippets Manager lurking in there somewhere If not, do you by any chance remember what developer settings you picked when running VS the first time

Hi,

Or optionally, you can reset your development settings. http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/ms247075(VS.80).aspx
