I just installed VS2005 Pro and also don't have the code analysis tab. I have Microsoft Visual Studion 2005 Version 8.0.50727.v2 (RTM.050727-4200) installed from my MSDN Universal subscription pack disc 3070.
By "only comes with Visual Studio Team System", do you mean there is a different version of visual studio, different features of Pro are enabled when connected to the team foundation server, or something else
Thanks for this clarification. Would you happen to know if transitioning my Universal subscription to one of the team editions would include the Team System edition
Team System is a new edition in the Visual Studio 2005 family that contain all features of Visual Studio Professional edition and more (such as intergrated Code Analysis).
You can find out more information about what is available in the different editions by seeing the following link:
I just thought that I would also mention, that even though Code Analysis is not intergrated with Visual Studio, you can still download the standalone FxCop tool from here:
where is the code analysis tab ?

Kevin,
Although I am no way an expert on this, If you look at the comparision of the features between the different Team System editions, you can see that Code Analysis only comes with the following:
