Thanks for the quick answer. I have VS2005 installed in my office so that I can learn from there. Is there a good sample to learn from VS2005 (Like which u hv provided for express edition)

It is very possible for you to lean C# with only a VB6 background (or even no background).
In terms of a cheap and easy route, I would suggest grabbing a copy of C# Express, a free Visual Studio IDE that lets you target the new 2.0 .NET Framework, after installing and registering it (also free) you get access to a free ebook that is written to teach people to write C# in that IDE and the skills you learn there are directly applicable to C# under almost any environment.

As far as I know the only way to legitimately get the free ebook is to register a copy of Express (I know, it kinda sucks).
Otherwise... there is a book for VB6 developers who are learning C#... however your best bet would probably be to just sit down and work through some of the many tutorials out there on learning C#. Sure you’ve got more programming experience than most of the audiences of such articles, it just means you’ll probably come to understand things faster as you’ve already got a good frame of reference.
