I am having a problem with "all" address bars. The address bar in MS Explorer does not allow me to scroll down. Also when I enter a new address and click on the "go" button nothing happens except my computer starts to heat up and strain in an effort to make something happen ( I am sure that there is another way of putting it but it sounds like it is using tremendous energy and nothing happens ). I generally have to exit by Task Manager but sometimes it requires a hard boot because that doesn't seem to work.
Also, the drop down bar when changing locations on the computer doesn't work. For example when I go to "Save As" and change location of where I want to save the document, say to the desktop. That address bar or drop down bar does the same thing as MS expl above. Having kept on top of MS updates I assume that this might be a security patch. I did try to modify the registry and nothing changed. HELP.. please

Address bar does not work
