Any help For Graduating Project .. Need Just The Idea

hello ..

I'm senior year at university .. next semester I have to build my project ..

unfortunately my supervisor doesn't help me to choose suitalble idea

( in my university .. no one of instructor knows or even cares to know about VS C# !! all they know is poor DBS built on non-microsoft product !!)

anyway .. I want my project to be worked under .Net framework ( esp C# or ASP.net with C#)

Ok .. I'm at Computer since department-alzaytoonah Unversity of Jordan - Jordan ... in my in order to graduate I have to make a project that express the knowledge that I get for being student last 4 yaer ..the most of the project that represented here are DBS oriented(bank system , Hotel system ) .. but for me since i've worked with VC#.net for one year and I've admit it ( seriously !) I want somthing different .. it's not a matter of mark or graduate but I want something that improve me

what is the major what school Is this for a bachelors dgree or an advanced degree

I would begin by reviewing previously submitted projects. . .

Perhaps you will find a previous project that could be enhanced or extended and make such an enhancement your project.

Keep it simple! Don't try to come up with anything groundbreaking!

Also keep in mind anything you do as part of this project will most likely be the property of your school.

let me explain :

my graduating project will be in next semester ( which will start after 10 days) now .. the deanship recieved my Project's name and some information about it .. if they accept the idea .. they let me start building it .. then I have 'bout 3 month to complete it

Wow, come up with your own problem, seems crummy...

My senior year, we were actually given a business problem and it was up to us to figure out what technology to use and what needed to be realized to create the project. The cool thing was, the business problem was a real problem - a company was looking for an information system for their small business. Top three winners get a pretty good cash prize, 400, 200, 50 for first, second and third prize respectively. Nothing like competitive forces.

Anyway, that being said, find a real life business problem - these are the best. Usually smaller businesses have more managable projects. If it is too big just do a piece of the puzzle.
