OK.. I'll do it anyway.. I have no shame here...
First.. I am not a professional programmer.. Just a old man trying to keep his brain alive.. I code things I never use just to THINK.. I think it helps the brain.. Besides I enjoy it!
I have ALOT of C# books.. To many in fact.. Just a old man and I get all mixed up.
Either I can not read or the information I need is not in them (or understand what I'm being told!).
I can do most anything I want in C# 'IF' I put everything in the one file.
Which tends to get a 'bit' bigger than I can deal with..
Is this normal
Is this a stupid question
I can get around most of my problems 'except' when using any controls made in my Form and try to use them from a different file in my project. I have looked and looked to no avail... I'm sure it WAS there but I'm not smart enough to understand..
I get all sorts of Error messages which I have NO idea what to do for.
I really hate to bother you folks with this.. I feel so stupid~ LOL..
Now I wonder if I'm smart enought to get any answers posted

My question is so basic I'm ashamed to ask it! LOL..

All I can say is I made this Form.. With other . . see the dot .cs files. I cannot use the controls from them I'd bet it made sense to you I hope
EDIT: I deleated the code on this computer .. I think I gave up but I have it on my lap top.. I hope!. Any way to send to you Or post here If I still have it..
Not my code just someting I found to play with and see what happens.. Still my same problem.

The 'folder' comment was just an analogy. I was not talking about folders on your PC or anything.
I was just saying if you had a bunch of papers, and you just put them all into one folder, it would be very disorganized and you would have a hard time managing them. Same with software.
Think about a software application in these three terms:
1) The user interface, which is the forms that the user interacts with
2) The structure, which are all the things that respresent real world objects
3) The logic, such as rules, actions, etc.
They each do their own thing and have their own purpose.
Maybe if yuo just posted a really simple example of what you wanted to do, I could give you a head start.
